Korean traditional food

Korean traditional food in my opinion is an acquired taste. One needs to gain enough experience to appreciate it. Food usually involves heavy seasoning such as doenjang, gochujang, sesame oil, etc., it really takes time to appreciate because it can be tough for first-timers.

When we go to a restaurant we order one main dish, the roasted fish in the case above (the price is calculated by the number of person). It includes rice, soup, and quite a number of banchan or side dishes in small plates. If you're really hungry, you can always ask for more side-dishes... it's free of charge.
