Rain sued for $30 million.

I heard from the news that Rain is being sued for $30 million by a local promoter from cancelling a concert in Los Angeles back in 2007. I also heard about a different lawsuit from another cancelled show in Hawaii. Because of this, all of his succeeding concerts in different parts of U.S. were also cancelled. TMZ wrote an article regarding this, and you could read it here.

I didn't know that Bi started as a backup dancer back in 2001 for a singer named Park Jin Young, who later managed him under JYP entertainment. I don't really listen to his music cause I like his dancing more than his singing. I think as a singer, he's just mediocre and overrated. But I could see his real talent whenever he dances... If you're like me, who watches Bi's "Rainism" video on mute, you'll definitely like his old video below. ^^

Boys over Flowers.

I was restraining myself from watching the new KBS drama "꼿 보 다 남 자" or "Boys over Flowers", cause I know how addicted and obsessed I can be over dramas like that. But today, I finally gave in and opened pandora's box! I just wanted to take a sneak peak but I instantly got hooked! I couldn't stop watching after I saw the first episode, and now I feel like a drug addict experiencing withdrawal symptoms. Waiting for the next one just kills me...

I really enjoyed watching Meteor Garden and Hana Yori Dango before, so I was really psyched about the whole Korean adaptation thing. Who could forget those four gorgeous Taiwanese models who played F4 back then..? I even went to their concert, bought their albums that unleashed the 'fan-girl' in me, and I even dreamed of going to Taiwan... Then came Matsumoto Jun and Inoue Mao who got impeccable chemisty that made me watch the drama and movie with absolute eagerness. They also brought me to like the boy group 'Arashi'...

The Korean version however, is a little disappointing (just a little, mind you). I think they are all gorgeous but something is lacking with their acting. Gu Hye Seon, the girl who plays Geum Jan Di (Tsukushi) isn't as feisty as she should be. She tries really hard to be cute that it's annoying. Lee Min Ho, who plays Goo Jun Pyo (Tsukasa) isn't arrogant and 'bad-enough' for the role. But he's really cute though. Is it just me or he bears a slight resemblance to Dao Ming Zi in Meteor Garden? Well, probaby it's only because they're playing the same role... It's too soon to tell whether it's a so-so or a great drama, but I think it's really worth watching..

Big Bang Boys

I'm addicted listening to Big Bang. I spent half of the day downloading their songs and watching their music videos and interviews! I even created a special folder just for them which can only mean they're extra special...

I first heard of this group last winter in Korea when a middle school girl I know, kept on asking me "Do you know Big Bang?", and whenever I say no she'll ask "Why-eeee?". She does this everytime we see each other, as if praying I'd finally bump my head and realize that they're the cutest being in the world and 'HOW COULD I NOT KNOW THEM?' I thought there wasn't anything special about this group, just some random Korean boy band who got pretty faces and a little talent paving their way to stardom by wooing middle school and high school girls (their biggest and only market...!). It turns out, I was wrong, so wrong.

I got curious after I first saw them at a New Year Celebration Show on T.V. and they were there to perform together with a lot of popular entertainers. I thought they're super cute and I wanted to see more of them so I started listening to their songs...

I've got a 'gi-normous' crush on G-Dragon (cutie on the left side)! I find him the cutest among the bunch and he's the most talented too. My only complain is that, he tries to be 'cool' too much so he sometimes end up way over-the-top especially with his sense of style. He's got all he needs to be a superstar in his own right and that should be enough. He should stop being "pa-cool" and all that shiz cause it's not workin' (why is it whenever I say 'work' I can't help but think of Tim Gunn.. lol).

The other guy T.O.P (cutie on the right) is familiar to many, cause he did a music video with Sandara Park called 'I'm Sorry'. The said MV didn't excite me and I don't think there's something special about it. My attention just focused on Sandara who is fondly called BOA of the Phil.. It's probably a big honor for Sandy to even be compared to BOA, considering she's super famous in all of Asia and very talented as well. I'm not a fan of BOA but I know how talented she is. That doesn't mean I'm anti-sandy, in fact I kind of like her. And why not? She's a very likeable person. But then again, I remember her song "In or Out" that scarred me for life! There goes the song again, it keeps playing in my head over and over and I just couldn't stop it...

Ok, back to T.O.P., Is it just me or he looks like Edison Chen in this picture? The way I look at this angle, T.O.P. looks very much like the 'hottest-chinese-superstar-no more'. But I have very bad eyesight that needs laser surgery A.S.A.P., so it's probably just me...

If you guys have a few minutes to kill, please check out this link below so you'd understand why I like this group or better yet, G-Dragon so much!

Se7en's 'Come Back to Me'

Se7en's my favorite singer and I am clearly smitten by the messages of his songs. My favorite is 'Come Back to Me' which I play on a daily basis. Although I sing it in Korean I am greatly impressed by the english traslation... here it goes;

So
hard not to think about it
It's every step I take
And heaven knows I'm trying
But it gets awfully hard
When your heart is this broken

Visions of your lovely face
As I awake, I have this feeling
That you're here and beside me
How silly of me, I know

All the pain will go away
so I say it, here I am again
I gotta face another day
I'm so tired, I need u once again oh baby

How am I suppose to carry on,
I find myself singing the same old song
If you hear me, have it in ur heart
but please come back to me (oh baby)

I'll be right here if you need someone
If you hold another I'll be moving on
As easy as said
Just hope that I can see the road

Oh how it's been so long
It seems a lifetime passed
These memories that linger,
soon as I think they have gone
they only gotten stronger

And so I'm getting through a day
but every move was made was always you and I together
It's hard to believe I'm lonely

Is there gonna be a day
I can see the word to make me better
I know there has to be a way
So if you listen and hear me out girl, baby

You're one in a million,
Don't know how we got so wrong
I thought it was so simple then
now I know, now I know, how it goes
to let it go

Can there be a chance for you and I?
Before I really make up my mind
oh how I miss you
I never would kiss you
I'm speaking it from my heart

Is this too much?!

Here's a sneak-peak at the highly-anticipated musical video starring Gummy and Sandara Park also known as (I hate to say this...) 'Philippine BoA'.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mx0dcnMZB9A

As much as I hate calling Sandara as 'the Philippine Boa', I hate to admit that she looked cute in the photos and there is some sort of chemistry?! (how should I know?) I'm pertaining to their faces... you know... just by looking at people's faces, you'd feel some sort of chemistry going on between them. Well, I don't trust my instinct so probably it's just the '"weird me" kickin in.

I was used to seeing her on screen with Hero Angeles speaking our language, and now that she's with her kind (how racist of me!!!), I feel rather mesmerized. I shouldn't be saying this, but I'm really anticipating to watch the whole musical video of Gummy's song "Mianhaeyo" or "Sorry".

I just hope she wouldn't say a damn word in the video and shut her mouth the whole time and just look pretty 'cause everytime she opens her mouth I'm afraid she's going to sing the song "In or out, Am I in or out". I'm THAT scarred for life...

Krung-Krung

Sandara Park already made her official debut in the Korean Entertainment Industry! She recently appeared in a music video together with T.O.P from Big Bang and she does have a kissing scene y'all!

It is said that she'll appear in a drama soon. She was even referred to as 'BoA of the Philippines'.

I have nothing against Sandara but her song "in or out" scarred me for life. Not to mention the cheesy commercial she did for a brand of shampoo ~ 'walang sabit di tulad ng sa iba~~~' OMFG, that's it I can't seem to shake these song out of my f***** brain.

Does it mean I'll be seeing her on Korean TV anytime soon?!

Jeez, not another uber talentless individual spoiling my TV screen.

'IT DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN MEANS YOU SHOULD' Sandy!!! For crying out loud~~~

Jang Dong Gun

First was Lee Byung Hoon who hit stardom in Asia via the movie 'JSA' and is known as Song Hye Gyo's former husband. He recently made a hollywood movie with Josh Hartnett and part of the film was shot in the Philippines. But crap! he potrays a Chinese in the movie because Americans think all Asians are Chinese whereas Asians think all 'white-people' are Americans. And now it's JDG!!!
I recently heard from a friend that Jang Dong Gun is going to do a movie with Kate Bossworth! I am so excited to hear this since Jang Dong Gun I think is hot, hot, hot! I was bitten by the lovebug upon seeing him in 'Taegukki' (the Korean flag) with just-as-hot Won Bin. He's said to be the most handsome man in Korea which I so agree by the way.
And Kate Bossworth is one of my favorite actress in Hollywood.... Who can forget about her 'Blue Crush' days before she became skinny as hell, although she constantly denied rumors that she has anorexia. I'm glad she has recovered and gained a few pounds and she looks healthy again.
